The truth behind this statement is self-evident. I know, personally, that I receive many, many, many viral videos and websites. It's nearly the only way I actually visit anything outside of what I normally visit. Usually my computing experience consists of checking my email, doing my homework, using an instant messenger, and browsing a couple of websites. After I feel I've done all that, I shut it down, and I'm done with the computer. Any time I deviate from that, it's because of something viral, and like a good viral campaign victim, I spread it to others.
It works.
